I have a dream. I have a dream, that one day, a property management company will use technology to improve the quality of service and the experience of owners. Most property management companies boast that they collect rents and make disbursements to owners and handle any issues that may crop up on any given month. The extent of using technology to improve their company stops at the management software they use. To their credit, these software companies (like ours, Appfolio) have made Property Managers far more efficient than they were a few years ago and online payments and disbursements have reduced the number of unnecessary calls. But what about all the other technology out there that could improve our industry? Here is what we intend to implement over the next year:
